The federal government says the ongoing construction of the world standard correctional facility in kano will soon be completed and utilized.
The minister of interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbosola stated this when he paid an inspection visit to the ongoing construction of the facility in kano.
Ha said the federal government will ensure that enough budget for the completion of the project is being provided in the next year’s budget so that the facility would be completed and put into use.

The minister who went round the facility expressed satisfaction with the quality and level of the work.
” I hope we will have enough provision in the budget for next year to fully complete this facility and put it to use”
Alhaji Ogbeni Rauf Aregbosola noted that the Buhari’s Administration would not relent in ensuring that the facility is been completed and fully utilized before the ends of its tenure.
It could be recalled that the construction of the world standard correctional facility was initiated by the Buhari’s Administration with the capacity of 3000 inmates which will be cited in Karchi in Abuja, Kano, and Bori in Rivers.
