The Rurum Media Office has congratulated Rt. Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum on his emergence as the unopposed candidate to represent the Rano, Kibiya and Bunkure Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives for a third term.
In a press release dated May 3, 2026, the media office described the nomination as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership by constituents.
It stated that the decision to grant him the party ticket without opposition underscored widespread satisfaction with his legislative performance, which began in the Kano State House of Assembly and continued with seven years of service in the National Assembly.
The statement noted that the development also demonstrated a growing democratic culture in the constituency and appreciation for the progress recorded under his representation.
According to the media office, Rurum’s tenure has been marked by the execution of developmental projects, promotion of community growth and efforts aimed at improving the living standards of the people.
It added that his interventions and support to constituents, particularly in the face of current economic challenges, have further strengthened the relationship between him and the electorate.
The media office expressed optimism ahead of the 2027 general elections, praying for a smooth and successful outing for the lawmaker.
