The Senator Sani Musa,( APC Niger East ) has dismissed speculations of a rift between him and Gov. Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State, insisting that their relationship remains strong and cordial.
Speaking during an engagement with party leaders and stakeholders at the Niger East Zonal Office of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday, Musa described reports of a feud as baseless and unfounded.
The senator, who is seeking re-election for a third term, is expected to contest in the APC primary election scheduled for the coming weeks
Addressing party members,Sen. Musa expressed satisfaction with his relationship with Bago, commended the governor’s performance, and reiterated his unwavering support.
“I do not see any problem whatsoever. Those who speculate are entitled to their opinions, but I remain focused.
I have God on my side, I have my President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I have my governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, and most importantly, I have the people. What God has joined together, no man can put asunder,” he said.
He explained that his visit to the zonal office was part of ongoing consultations and engagements with party stakeholders, adding that he had received positive feedback regarding his performance.
Sen.Musa also reiterated his commitment to advancing education in the state, urging young people to take advantage of his educational initiatives to build a more secure future.
While commending party officials for their coordination and dedication, he reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC, stating that the platform had enabled him to positively impact lives and contribute to national development.
“We have witnessed a high level of organisation and commitment here. The zonal office is living up to its mandate, and we are proud of the progress being made,” he added.
The lawmaker further called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and continue to pray for their leaders, expressing confidence that the APC-led government would achieve its objectives of revitalising the economy, improving infrastructure, reducing poverty, enhancing education, and ensuring security across the country.
