PTA Commends Dawakin Tofa Chairman for Securing School Site, Building Classrooms in Dawanau.

The Executive Chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government, Alhaji Anas Muktari Bello, Dan Maliki, has been described as the best Local Government Chairman in the state.

The Parents Teachers’ Association Chairman of Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Dawanau, Alhaji Abdullahi Maikano Dawanau made the remarks during an inspection of the on-going construction of classrooms blocks at the School permanent site.

It would be recalled that the school was established in 2008 squatting in different places with no piece of land as its own site, but the site was recently secured by the Local Government Chairman.

The swift action of the Chairman in responding to our complain of problem of non specific site for the eighteen years old school with an enrollment of over one thousand students, clearly demonstrated his desire and commitment towards meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

Alhaji Abdullahi Maikano  who is also the PRO of Dawanau Coalition of Community Development Associations, noted with satisfaction that besides securing the site, Alhaji Anas Dan Maliki also pledged to build some classroom blocks for the school.

Meanwhile, the Local Government Chairman has fulfilled his promise by executing the project in phases, with phase one made up of two blocks of four classrooms which has reached an advanced stage of completion while the second phase consisting of two blocks of six classrooms have also sprung up.

The PTA Chairman said Alhaji Anas Dan Maliki, was up and doing towards addressing the pressing problems bedevilling the progress of the area..

He said the timely intervention of the Chairman of the Local Government,  in that direction has reached all nooks and crannies of the Local Government through the provision of either a new developmental project or renovation of existing ones to make life easier and better for the people of the area.

Alhaji Abdullahi Maikano Dawanau appealed to other political office holders representing the area to emulate the good omen of the Local Government Chairman to ensure a speedy development of the area.
