Sokoto car dealers pledge support for APC, Wamakko promises intervention

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has assured members of the Sokoto State Car Dealers Association of government support to strengthen their businesses and boost economic growth in the state.

Wamakko gave the assurance on Saturday during a solidarity visit by the association’s leadership at his Gawon Nama residence.

The APC leader in Sokoto commended the association’s contribution to the state economy and urged members to remain united.

He said government business intervention programmes would soon reach members of the association, and called on them to support efforts to tackle insecurity by reporting suspected bandit informants.

Speaking on behalf of the association’s chairman, Mansur Zagi, Bashir Muhtasibi reaffirmed the association’s support for Governor Ahmed Aliyu’s administration and pledged continued loyalty to the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
