Bichi Congratulates First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at 66

The Managing Director, Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority (HJRBDA), Mr Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, has congratulated the First Lady of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday.

Bichi, in a congratulatory message on behalf of the management and staff of the authority, described the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate the First Lady’s contributions to women, youth and families across the country.

He commended her advocacy for grassroots development, particularly through the Every Home A Garden Initiative, which promotes household gardening and food production.

According to him, the initiative aligns with efforts to promote food security, agricultural empowerment and self-reliance among Nigerian households.

Bichi said that, inspired by the initiative, the HJRBDA had trained 500 women in homestead gardening and agricultural empowerment, describing the programme as part of efforts to support the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He said the authority would continue to support programmes that empower women and strengthen agricultural productivity in communities within its area of operation.

Bichi wished the First Lady continued good health, strength and wisdom, while praying for many more years of impactful service to the nation.

The State House had earlier confirmed that Sen. Oluremi Tinubu marked her 66th birthday on Sept. 21, 2026.
