The Organizing Committee of the Gombe Emir’s Cup – King’s Cup 2026 has concluded all necessary arrangements towards the successful opening ceremony of the prestigious football tournament.
The opening ceremony is fixed for Saturday 13, June, 2026 at Pantami stadium by 3pm.
The Gombe Emir’s Cup continues to serve as a platform for promoting unity, sportsmanship, youth empowerment, peaceful coexistence, and talent development across Gombe State through the power of football.
The competition brings together Emirates and Chiefdoms from across the state in a celebration of football, culture, and community spirit.
The tournament which is being sponsoring by the former chairman of Gombe state Football Association, Alhaji Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe was design to cement the cordial relationship among football stakeholders across the state.
The Opening Ceremony marks the official commencement of the Gombe Emir’s Cup 2026, bringing together football stakeholders, traditional institutions, government officials, participating teams, and supporters in a celebration of sports, unity, and community development.
The tournament is proudly organized and sponsored by GWG Sports Center Ltd under the leadership of Gara Gombe Ahmed Shuaibu, whose commitment to youth development and sports development continues to create meaningful opportunities for young talents across the state.
