Governor Yusuf unveils 50 vehicles donated to APC campaign in Kano

Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has unveiled 50 vehicles donated by Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, to support the campaign activities of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Yusuf said the vehicles would be distributed to the party’s structures across the 44 Local Government Areas (LGAs) to facilitate campaign mobilisation and grassroots engagement.

He said effective mobility was essential to political campaigns, adding that the vehicles would enable party officials to reach communities across the state.

The governor said the state government was also implementing infrastructure and other development programmes aimed at improving the welfare and living conditions of residents.

Representing Ekpemupolo, Chief Pondi Kestin said the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement was established to promote awareness of the policies, programmes and projects of the Federal Government.

Kestin said the movement was focused on grassroots engagement and explaining government initiatives to Nigerians, adding that it would continue its mobilisation and engagement activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
