Tompolo: Tinubu’s reforms attracting support across Nigeria

The Founder and Convener of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, says President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms are attracting growing support across the country.

Ekpemupolo stated this in an interview with journalists at the Kano Government House, where he spoke through the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor.

He said the reforms, including fuel subsidy removal, foreign exchange reforms and infrastructure development, demonstrated the president’s determination to address the country’s economic challenges.

According to him, ongoing infrastructure projects in the North, including the rail project in Kano, the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas project and the revamping of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, were among developments attracting public attention.

He said the movement would inaugurate its state chapters across the northern and southern parts of the country and establish unit-level structures to mobilise support for Tinubu.

“Every door will be knocked and every home will be reached so that people can give their massive support to Mr. President,” he said.

Ekpemupolo said the movement expected Tinubu to secure at least 70 per cent of the votes across the states in the 2027 presidential election.
