Guwor: Tinubu’s Reforms Attracting Support Across Nigeria

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, says the economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are attracting increasing support across the country.

Guwor stated this while speaking with journalists at the Kano Government House, saying the President had demonstrated boldness in implementing economic reforms, which he said had attracted the support of several state governors.

He cited the removal of fuel subsidy, foreign exchange reforms, infrastructure development and ongoing projects in the North, including the rail project, the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas project and the revamping of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, as some of the initiatives contributing to the administration’s support.

The Speaker, who is also Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, said the movement of several state governors into the All Progressives Congress (APC) was an indication of growing political support for President Tinubu’s administration. Current public records also identify Guwor as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.

Guwor said the Door-to-Door campaign organisation would establish state chapters across the northern and southern parts of the country, while unit-level coordinators would reach households to mobilise support for the President.

He said the organisation was determined to reach every household, adding that he expected President Tinubu to secure at least 70 per cent of the votes in each state in the 2027 presidential election.
