Kano Friday Mosque Imams Honour Information Commissioner Waiya with ‘Gwani’ Award

The Kano State Council of Friday Mosque Imams has honoured the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, with the prestigious title of “Gwani” in recognition of his contributions.

The award ceremony was held on Sunday at the main conference hall of Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies, Kano.

The honour recognises Waiya’s contributions to public service and his role as the state’s Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs.
