The Coalition of Young Patriotic Imams of Juma’at Mosques in Northern Nigeria has honoured the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, with the prestigious title of “Gwani”.
The award was presented to Waiya on Sunday at the main conference hall of Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies, Kano.
The coalition said the honour was in recognition of Waiya’s contributions to public service and his role as the state’s Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs.
The recognition celebrates his service and contributions to the development of Kano State.
