Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University to take-off Soon, Inaugurate Board of Trustees

Former Vice Chancellor of Bayero University Kano an Emeritus Professor and the Chief Imam of Kano, professor Mohammad Sani Zaharaddeen has been Appointed as the Chairman Board of Trustees Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Kano.

Speaking during the Inauguration, professor Mohammad Sani Zaharaddeen expressed his delight in being alive to witness the take-off of the University.

He reassured the commitment of the members of the board would work assiduously in ensuring that the university achieved the greater height

“This university in a combination of Islamic education and western education, we are blending the two aspects, geared toward achieving the set objectives”

Professor Mohammad Sani Zaharadddeen Prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Khalifah Isyaku Rabiu the Founder of the University.

In a remark a member of the Mohammad Rabiu Foundation Alhaji Rabiu Isyaku Rabiu said preparations for the take-off of the university were in top gear, saying soon activities of the university would commence in earnest.

“At the moment we are 99.5% ready , Insha Allah we hope to start the process Admission in the few months, the management team and the vice chancellor have been recruited and they would be soon announced.”

Alhaji Rabiu Isyaku Rabiu maintained that the university was very prepared both Human and Financial, stressing that late Khalifah Isyaku Rabiu have provided all the needs of the university for two years, with the aim of ensuring that the take off of the university went smoothly.

Members of the University include professor Mohammad Sani Zaharaddeen as Chairman, while members were professor Shehu Usman Abdullahi, Alhaji Nu’man Barau Danbatta, Professor Abubakar Mustapha, Alhaji Mannir Isyaku Rabiu, Dr Yusif Isyaku Rabiu, others were Alhaji Anwar Isyaku Rabiu, Dr Naja’atu Rabiu, Alhaji Rabiu Bala Rabi’u and Dr Zahara’u Muhammad Umar.
