Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Kicks Start With Sixteen Academic Undergraduate Courses 

The Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University has Officially Kick Started it’s Academic Undergraduate Courses With Sixteen Science Courses .

The Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Abdulrashid Garba disclosed this during an international press conference held at the University’s main Campus Kano.

He said the official commissioning of the University will commence on the 27 April 2024,at the University’s main Campus along BUK road , opposite Gadon Kayan City Gate.

The Vice Chancellor noted that during the official commissioning high profile personalities are expected to grace the memorable occasion.

“Those in anticipation of attending the ceremony includes representative of Mr President, Honourable Minister of Education, representative of Governor of Kano State ,Abba Kabir Yusuf,representatives of other state governors ,His Eminence Sultan of Sokoto,Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu  Bayero to mention but a few”

Professor Abdulrashid Garba explained that Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University which is now a full pledged University at a starting point kick starts with sixteen academic Undergraduate courses .

“Three of the programmes are in Allied Medical Sciences ,Three in Engineering and Ten in Science and Computing”

He said the University’s laboratories are modern,while the mode of the classes activities are interactive ,while other needed facilities like electricity and water supply were uninterrupted,coupled with enhanced welfare and comfort zones created for student ,such as comfortable Accommodations, students center Among others.

The Vice Chancellor maintained that at starting point the university kick starts with over seventy students at which over 77% of the student are Females while 23% are males.

Highlighting the history of the University, Professor Abdulrashid Garba said KHAIRUN obtained its licence from the Federal Government to Function and Operate as a University,in May 2022,He said by September 2023 the Administrative of all structures have been put in place and Board of trustees under stewardship of Emeritus Professor Mohammad Sani has been Inaugurated.

Professor Abdulrashid Garba extended invitation to the general populace of Kano State and beyond to come en mass and witness the historic and memorable occasion of official commissioning of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Kano
