Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration of a national emergency on security, describing it as a necessary step to tackle the rising wave of terrorist and bandit incursions across the country.
Governor Yusuf made the remarks at the opening of the 34th Executive Council Meeting, Held at Government house Kano.
He assured that Kano State is taking all necessary measures to confront the growing threat of banditry in affected local government areas.
Governor Yusuf emphasized Kano’s readiness to tackle the menace decisively, stressing that the state government will deploy all required resources to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
