The Managing Director of Sky Construction and Technical Company, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Kwangila Yakasai, popularly known as Khadimun Nabiyyi, has congratulated Muslims on the commencement of the Islamic New Year 1448 AH.
In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday, Yakasai rejoiced with Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion marking the beginning of a new Hijri year, commemorating the migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Madinah.
He described the arrival of the New Year as a blessing from Allah and an opportunity for Muslims to reflect on their deeds, seek forgiveness for past shortcomings and increase acts of worship and charity.
According to him, every believer who witnesses the new Islamic year has been granted another chance by Allah to repent, renew faith and strive for righteousness in pursuit of success in this world and the hereafter.
Yakasai prayed for lasting peace, security and prosperity in Nigeria and Kano State, expressing hope that the year 1448 AH would usher in greater stability, economic growth and development for the state and the country at large.
He also prayed to Allah to forgive the mistakes of the past, accept the repentance of believers and guide their hearts towards righteousness.
“May Allah increase our faith, grant us good health and long life in obedience to Him. May He bless this new year with goodness, relieve us of every hardship and distress, and shower His blessings on our families, friends and communities,” he said.
The construction firm’s chief executive further urged Muslims to use the occasion to strengthen unity, promote peace and work towards the progress of society.
He wished all Muslims a happy and prosperous Islamic New Year, praying that the year would be a source of blessings, success and renewed hope for the Ummah.
