Youth Groups from Northwest Advocate for Good Governance

A non Governmental Organisation named North West youth support for Good Governance has reaffirmed its determination in enlightening people from the North-Western region of the country about the importance of revalidating their voter registration cards, aimed at voting credible leaders.

The National Chairman of the Association Comrade Fatihu Bello Raha stated this during a roundtable meeting organized by the association in Kano.

He said the main focus of the Association was to sensitize people from the Grassroot to the importance of revalidating their voter’s registration cards, which are currently ongoing in all parts of the federation.

Comrade Fatihu Bello Raha noted that with adequate sensitization voters from the northwestern part of the country would be able to vote credible and Competent leaders, geared towards having a better society.

“This movement is a movement which comprises 186 local government areas across the northwest states with the provision of 2004 wards and 29,529,000 polling units aimed at educating the voters to know their duties and responsibilities”

“If a voter knows the value of his voting card, I think all other challenges regarding voting incompetent leader will be minimized”

Comrade Usman Idris Jere And Ahmad Abdulgafar are the coordinators of the Association in Kaduna and Zamfara States they said the time has come for the youths to sensitized their peers in the nooks and crannies of the nation on the importance of voting competent and credible leaders.

” At this time that election period is quite approaching It is very paramount for the youths in the northwest to know their rights and vote for voters that would make an impact on their lives”

The Roundtable meeting was attended by representatives from all the northwest states of the Nation.
