The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation (KSHC), Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu, has congratulated Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf on his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as one driven by visionary leadership and impactful development across Kano State.
Speaking while briefing journalists on the corporation’s scorecard and the achievements of the state government over the past three years, Abdullahi Rabiu said the governor had demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the welfare of the people through people-centred policies and programmes.
According to a statement issued by the Director of Public Enlightenment of the corporation, Malam Ismail Garba Gwammaja, the KSHC managing director noted that the administration had recorded significant achievements in key sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, housing, youth and women empowerment, social welfare and economic development.
Rabiu particularly commended the governor’s efforts in urban renewal and housing development, saying the initiatives had contributed to improving access to decent shelter and creating a more sustainable environment for residents across the state. He added that the administration’s investment in infrastructure and modernization projects was strengthening Kano’s position as a leading state in development and governance.
He further praised Governor Yusuf’s leadership style, humility and accessibility, describing them as qualities that had inspired confidence among citizens. The KSHC boss also expressed appreciation for the governor’s support to government agencies and institutions, which he said had enabled them to effectively implement policies and programmes in line with the administration’s development agenda.
As Governor Yusuf marks three years in office, Rabiu prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom and good health for the governor, expressing optimism that the administration would continue to deliver projects and programmes aimed at improving the lives of Kano residents.
