The Department of State Security in Kano, has made yet another breakthrough after the rescued of a 94 Year Old Mother Of Jigawa Senate Candidate, Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya.
Binta Ibrahim was abducted some four days ago at about 2am morning hours of Wednesday at her Kiyawa Country home by some heavily armed Gunmen and took her inside deep bush of the State.
However reports according to a Family member who don’t want his name’s mentioned, said the Senatorial Candidate of Jigawa South and who is also House of Representatives member from Kiyawa, Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya reported the matter to DSS, two days ago.
“As God would have it just two days after the report of the matter to DSS in Kano, our Mother was rescued by the operatives and we have not paid single Kobo as ransom”.
The Family member added that the abductors of Hajia Binta had earlier demanded N100 Million Ransom or they would killed her but by the grace of the DSS She was rescued unhort.
When contacted the DSS refused commenting on the matter although a Security officer who talk under anoinomity confirmed the operations and the rescue of the Senatorial Candidate Mother.
Reports according to the Security circle has it that the DSS who rescued Hajia Binta at about 4am of Saturday after storming the Kidnappers Den at about that hour.
Already, Honorable Tijanni was said to have received his mother in a good health and they are on their way back home, according to the Security circle. Some suspects were arrested during the combat operations the Security circle added
