Member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress in Doguwa and Tudun Wada to unite and put aside all differences ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Doguwa made the call in a press statement issued on Wednesday, where he stressed the need for party members to remain steadfast and work collectively towards ensuring the victory of the APC at all levels in the forthcoming elections.
According to him, no party member should be seen as an outsider, noting that he is ready to work with every stakeholder and group within the party for the overall success and progress of the APC.
The lawmaker also commended the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his support and leadership, assuring that party members would not disappoint the administration.
He further appealed to both longstanding and newly joined APC members to exercise patience, embrace one another and strengthen unity within the party.
Doguwa equally called on aggrieved members who may have left the APC for one reason or another to return to the party and contribute to the collective effort of securing victory for the APC in Kano State and across Nigeria.
Speaking on national politics, the former Majority Leader of the House of Representatives urged northern Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027.
He said allowing President Tinubu to complete an eight-year tenure would promote fairness, equity and national unity, recalling the support given to the North during the administration of late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Doguwa maintained that unity among APC members remains the key to the party’s success in future elections.
